Shawza Life

You know the one thing I really love about blogging and social media in general - is that it gives you a voice, no matter who you are.

Sure your voice has to be strong and credible if you want to be recognized and respected - but you know even if you don’t want it be and its merely a place for you to express the things that you really love and enjoy - well I think you’ll be surprised at how many people love that sort of commentary.

Enter Shawza Life - a blog where my younger brother explores his love affair with food and drink -and I guess, in all senses of the phrase, ‘the good thing in life’.

He may not be a celebrity chef YET - but you can feel the passion in his words and immediately warm to the ease in which he discusses the topics he so dearly and obviously loves.

I think he is onto something - so give it a read and keep a close eye on it - I have a feeling this is just the start.

i’m 21 and in the process of completing a 3yr cheffing diploma at the Institute of Culinary arts with a year specializing in wine. I work at a boutique wine shop in constantia called The Noble Grape and being in this industry is nothing short of fantastic! I will definately be a regular to these pages!

    Hey Tessa

thanks so much for the kind words and great to have you join The Cru debates!

I hope you comment lots and I’ll be popping into The Noble Grape for a visit - where is it exactly?

its in the High Constantia Centre (next to Greens and woolworths food) at the road that turns off to Groot Constantia. We have free tastings every fri (4-7pm) and sat (12-4pm) and they end up usually being more of a social gathering to start off the weekend, more than anything else!
