Cape Tawny Magic
September 28, 2007
On my recent trip to Botswana - I took along a bottle of port for those magical ’sitting around a campfire in the African bush’ kind of moments.
Well I should have taken a bottle for every night because that’s just what every evening was like! This bottle only lasted two nights!
Every single person that had this port explaimed - ” Wow, thats good!”.
I think the Boplaas website gives the best description of the port - I certainly tasted all of what they describe:
Lovely burnished coppery gold, lively nutty aromas with touched of nutmeg and a creme caramel finish.
A huge success and well worth the R70 a bottle - oh and I’ve just seen that it’s been awarded 5 Stars by John Platter!
