Wine Survey : Wine Awards

Date March 13, 2008

Now here is a topic that always gets me going and right into the heart of a healthy debate with any wine lover I can pick on: Wine Awards!

>>Take the Survey<<

(and when you do you stand a chance to win a case of wine!)

The above survey is in aid of research being conducted by Christiane von Arnim who is completing an MBA at the University of Stellenbosch Business School - so it would be great if we could all fill it out.

I think it’s a fantastic topic and with questions like the following - the results are bound to yield some interesting insight’s!

  • Buying an awarded wine makes me feel good about myself.
  • A large number of medal stickers on a wine bottle is indicative of good quality inside the bottle.
  • Serving an awarded wine to guests makes me feel more sophisticated.

What do you think of Wine Awards here in South Africa and around the world? Do they influence your purchasing behaviour?
