South African Wine bloggers Braai
April 1, 2008
The first South African Wine Bloggers Braai was a great success indeed!
The weather was kind and Warwick Wine Estate was a perfect venue with Mike Ratcliffe a great host.
It was fantastic to meet some of South Africa’s fellow wine bloggers and it a great opportunity to share some thoughts, wine and food with them.
The Warwick Sauvignon Blanc was like ‘mothers milk’ as I recall one person saying and the Warwick Three Cape Ladies a perfect partner to the braai meat superbly cooked by Ronald!
Mike Kreft bought along one of his own creations - Belfield Magnifica and I think everyone would agree that it is a stunning wine with a glittering future.
Here is a full list of industry related friends who attended:
The next Wine Bloggers Braai is being held at Backsberg Estate - so keep your eyes peeled for dates!
