A Beijing-based billionaire has splashed out a record $500k on 27 bottles of red wine.
Apparently the bottles have been purchased with the intention of drinking them! Would you like that Burgundy with a dash of coke sir?!
How could one collector find so much rare fine wine?
My good friend Cyg sent this to me and it’s a great read - just shows how much history can be contained within the confines of a 750ml bottle of vino. Makes it hard then to ignore ‘history’ in ones assessment of a wine doesn’t it?
