Prince Charles’ car runs on wine

Date July 1, 2008

Well this type of thing is very ‘in’ at the moment and also very neccessary.  The more celebrities that we have setting this type of example the better:

Prince Charles’ Car Runs on Wine - CNN

“Britain’s Prince Charles has converted his 38-year-old Aston Martin to run on biofuel made from surplus wine, his office revealed Tuesday… The car was a 21st birthday present from Queen Elizabeth — and the prince has converted it to run on 100 percent bioethanol as a way to reduce his carbon emissions.”

Well good for Prince Charlie - the possiblities of wine are truly endless!

This article got me thinking: I’ve seen a hell of a lot of grape pulp been dumped after pressing at harvest time - surely we could use this ‘waste’ for something?

Any ideas anyone?

Charles is 59, 60 this year, same as me, not 57.
