Sublime South African Sauvignon Blanc

For those of you who read The Cru regularly - you will know that I am not very fond of Sauvignon Blanc.
And I’m still not - but the following wine was sublime - both myself and the Wine Thief concurred : it’s the best Sav Blanc we have had from South Africa thus far.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that this is probably in my top ten list of red wines from South Africa.
It took one sip of the 2005 vintage for me to fall in love and I had very high hopes for the latest vintage - needless to say I was not disappointed.
