Riesling … Riesling … Rieeeeesssssssllling!

If you love riesling as much as I do (which I doubt) - then there is only one place you’ll be on the 20 + 21 February 2009.

The Under the Influence of Riesling Festival : Driven by Lexus

The festival is taking place in the halls of and on the lawns of the Roundhouse Restaurant in Camps Bay:

Now I’m not sure what the team at Under the Influence had to do to get these guys out here - I dont want to know and quite frankly I don’t care - all that matters is that there is going to be copious amounts of world class Riesling for us to smash in our faces.

There’s going to be educational workshops, riesling, SIX course meals, riesling, food & wine pairings , riesling, gourmet picnics, riesling, famous chef’s running around, riesling and various stands dishing out riesling.

As I said - if you’re fan of riesling you’ll be there and even if you’re not, you’d be mad to miss out.

I’ve saved up for months to attend - so if you see me at the end of the day trying to persuade everyone to go skinny dipping at Camps Bay - forgive me : it’s just the riesling working it’s magic.
