Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Run 2009
March 11, 2009
Firstly I must apologise for the lack of wine reviews lately - the reason is simple:
I have cut down on wine consumption as part of my training for thew Two Oceans Half Marathon in April.
As soon as the race is done I’ll be back to my regular, more ‘healthy’ consumption of vino - but until then I must assume the role of an athlete.
Which is why I must draw your attention to the following fantastic event:
Cape Times Lourensford Vineyard Run 2009
“This challenging 11km trail run provides participants with beautiful vistas and numerous climbs through the idyllic and picturesque Lourensford Estate. The route is entirely off-road and offers some testing climbs. The cut-off is generous, allowing the novice runners a chance to test their trail-running skills on this stunning course.”
What a pleasure - beautiful scenery, amazing location, some exercise and vino on tap at the end of the race - the perfect training run in my eyes.
You can register for the race here.
See you all thereĀ - I’ll be the guy struggling to run right at the back of the field.
