Solms Delta Oesfees 2009 - an absolute triumph!

The Solms Delta Oesfees 2009 was nothing short of amazing.
In only it’s second year of existence it was even bigger and better than last year - which is quite something because last year was phenomenal.
It’s one of those cultural celebrations that really shouldn’t be missed by those in and around the area at the time.
My memory is forever enriched by the sheer genius of Hannes Coetzee playing the guitar with a spoon in his mouth - I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

And if the music wasn’t enough there was hearty rural food to chow down on: waterblommetjie bredie, afval potjie, chicken brijani, bobotie and other ‘Kaapse kos’ - all of which was happily washed down with amazing wine - and lot’s of it too!
You know - South Africa really is an amazing place and it’s cultural celebrations like the Oesfees that really make you appreciate it - make sure you’re there next year.
