I haven’t tried the wine myself but at this price and for a bit of fun with labelling I reckon it’s worth it. Great for personal and corporate gifts, book clubs, special events, weddings etc - you catch my drift.

CHARDONNAY 2008 VINTAGE
100% Chardonnay, this wine was blended from 2 distinctly different components.
40% was derived from Rooiberg’s award winning Chardonnay, a bold wine matured in oak, while 60% came from the Excelsior estate, an unwooded refined Chardonnay with finesse.
The result was a sophisticated well balanced Chardonnay with subtle oak and lovely hints of citrus, lime and pineapple.
A wine of bold character, yet finesse, with a lingering pallet and excellent finish.

SHIRAZ 2007 VINTAGE
100% Shiraz, this is an exceptionally smooth and easy drinking wine.
Matured in oak, it has hints of spice and coffee typical of a shiraz, with lovely fruity undertones.
Ready to drink, it can also be cellared and will age well.

Both the Shiraz and Chardonnay were bottled at the Excelsior Estate in Robertson.

SPARKLING WINE – NON VINTAGE
A lovely fresh Colombar from Rooiberg was selected to use as the base wine in the making of our Brut Sparkling wine.
Elegant in style, it has a lively sparkle and finesse with fine bubbles.
Hints of guava, fresh cut apples and pear, this delicate, dry, refined bubbly will liven up any occasion.
It is unique and exclusive and proving very popular with other winemakers in Robertson
