Never in the history of South African wine has one farm managed to win two Decanter national trophies in two consecutive years - well now Cederberg have.
For the third year running Cederberg Private Cellar – since it started participating in the competition four years ago – was awarded a trophy
Trophy: Category: SA Red Bordeaux varietal over £10
Cederberg Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2006
Trophy: Category: SA Sauvignon Blanc under £10
Cederberg Sauvignon Blanc 2008Gold
Cederberg Shiraz 2007Silver
David Nieuwoudt Ghost Corner Semillon 2008Bronze
Cederberg Chenin Blanc 2008
Congratulation to Cederberg and lieu of this achievement and the cold weather - I think I’ll crack open one of their red’s tonight!
