Last nights Wine X 2009 at the Cape Town Convention Centre was a real blast - thoroughly entertaining and fun.
Some observations:
- there were notably less estates attending - which actually wasn’t a bad thing

Sublime South African Sauvignon Blanc

For those of you who read The Cru regularly - you will know that I am not very fond of Sauvignon Blanc.
And I’m still not - but the following wine was sublime - both myself and the Wine Thief concurred : it’s the best Sav Blanc we have had from South Africa thus far.
