This weeks “Wine for the Weekend” is a bloody marvelous Shiraz perfect for warming the cockles in this cold weather (if you’re in Cape Town that is).
I’ve had in on at least five different occasions and it has consistently been a joy to drink.

Those people who dismiss Pinotage as a useless grape varietal must find themselves a little bit embarressed and a tad ashamed of themselves when they sip on a bottle of this world class wine:

My suggested wine for the weekend has it’s roots in Italy and this South African version is very cheerful indeed.
